Wool Childrens Centre Outreach Base

Wool children's centre is an outreach base to Bovington. We support families with children aged under five and up to age seven where there are a specific needs. Find out what is on offer and when activities are available.

What we do

The outreach base in Wool is located in the village hall and is part of Bovington Children's Centre. Our staff team create a welcoming learning environment in the hall, where families can access equipment and activities to help develop skills in both parenting and in pre-school readiness. Some of our activities are run from the Kids of Wool building whilst many more are run from our main centre in Bovington.

Additional support if you need it

For families who may need that extra little bit of help we can offer the support of one of our outreach workers who can help on a one to one basis with behaviour management, tricky eaters, parenting advice or additional needs (Early Support) and for families with English as an additional language. If you are confused about benefits, housing and maternity entitlements, returning to work or disability living allowance, we can sign post you to someone who can help.

Location and parking

We are in the centre of Wool next to the D'urberville Hall. There is plenty of free parking, however please note the car park is busy on Thursdays as there is a market running that day.
