Wool Children's Centre Outreach Base

Children's Centres aim to give all children the best possible start in life and enable parents to support their child and family. They act as a central point where families can access information and a range of services.

Overview

The outreach base is part of Wool and Bovington Children's Centre, as an outreach base, staff are not always on the premises.

The village hall is used for all children's work in Wool, this can range from Mother and Toddler groups to the Youth Club. Please see our current activities programme (pdf, 194kb) (opens in a new window)  for further details.

In addition at various times we also run 'Let's Cook' courses, this allows you to learn how to cook healthy meals and how to eat on a budget!

Our Ofsted (opens in a new window) report for 7 December 2011 is now available.

Location

We are in the centre of Wool next to the D'urberville Hall,  the full address including postcode is shown at the end of this page.
