Christchurch Vision 2026
Christchurch Borough Council, in conjunction with the Christchurch Community Partnership, is developing a sustainable community strategy for the Borough. A series of vision seminars with service providers and local residents has resulted in the emergence of a 'common vision'.
The initial vision workshop resulted in a focus on four main areas for development and the report is analysed as follows:
(i) an analysis of ambitions and major challenges faced by Christchurch
and
(ii) a summary of the discussions, issues raised and conclusions of the four working groups on Bournemouth Airport Business Park, Flood Risk, Christchurch Town Centres and the proposed Urban Extension North of Christchurch
The report concludes with an update on the next steps for producing the vision for Christchurch.
