West Dorset Partnership

The West Dorset Partnership has now adopted the West Dorset Community Plan 2010-26.

Information on how the community plan has been reviewed can be seen under the West Dorset Community Plan Review 2009.

The West Dorset Partnership is a partnership of voluntary and community, public and private sector organisations working together to improve the quality of life in the district. The plan aimed to help join up and add value to the actions of all those public, private and voluntary sector organisations.

The revised West Dorset Community Plan 2010-26 [228kb] (opens in a new window)is currently being checked against plain english standards and then will be graphically designed, It will then be avaliable on this website. Alternatively copies can be obtained from libraries across West Dorset and at district council offices. The partnership is currently producing its first two-year action plan to begin delivering the aims of the community plan. This is due to be adopted by the partnership in September and will be avaliable here once it is published.

The West Dorset Partnership publishes an annual monitoring report [190kb] (opens in a new window), giving progress on the objectives and actions in the plan and other successes of the partnership. The 2009-10 report will be available shortly.

The West Dorset Partnership has now adopted the Climate Change Strategy for West Dorset, which went out for public consultation from December 2008 to January 2009.
