East Dorset District Council consultations
East Dorset District Council has a long-standing commitment to consultation.
We need to consult to improve the level of services provided for the community. This can be achieved by:
Developing services in a way that fits with customers' and other users' requirements
Helping to prioritise services that will enable the council to concentrate its resources in the most efficient manner.
Consultation is also a key element of the Government's Democratic Renewal objective of:
Making public services more focused
Engaging the public in decisions that affect the level and quality of public services.
