Education and learning
The History Centre aims to support all kinds of learning activities, and offers sessions for school groups in particular.
We can support learning for school, college or university groups in a number of ways:
- Taught sessions led by our Learning Officer
- Group inductions to help pupils start a research project at the History Centre
- Free resource packs for teachers, available for download as PDFs
We offer sessions on a range of topics, and a visit to the History Centre can include a 'behind the scenes' tour to learn how we protect the county's archives, as well as seeing historical documents first-hand.
