Permission to photograph documents
Visitors must buy a licence in order to use their own camera in the searchroom. Visitors can take as many photographs as they require whilst the licence is in effect.

Copies of audio sources
Copying audio tapes to audio or digital format - £5 per tape

10 x 8 inches (203mm x 254mm) - £9.95
A4 (210mm x 297mm) - £9.95
A3 (297mm x 420mm) - £13.95
Postage of images on line is £2 flat rate, regardless of what size print you order, how many prints you order or where you live (we dispatch worldwide). Ordering is via the website only; telephone orders cannot be accepted. Payment is in £ (GBP) Sterling only.

N.B. Due to changes in the Royal Mail pricing structure most A4 and A3 Sheets for postage will be folded, unless otherwise specifically requested

Rate 2: Commercial publication - local: £15.00 discounted rate £7.50*
Including: local press, magazines and media, local publishers of Dorset history and related material.
Rate 3: Commercial publication - national: £75.00 discounted rate £40.00*
Including: national media, digital publication in all formats, film and TV use of images.
*For third and all further images used in a single publication
Category 1: Other commercial use: by negotiation
Include significant filming, advertising use, book covers, CD labels, TV editorial flashes, TV advertising flashes, commercial video, souvenirs.
Category 2: No charge
Only when directly supports DHC core objectives and key priorities or is otherwise beneficial to the archives and local studies collections
