Lecture room hire
Located at the Dorset History Centre in Dorchester, our lecture room is available for hire. Well-suited to meetings and talks, with the option for lecture, board room or cafe-style layout.
The room and facilities
The room can be set up in a boardroom, 'cafe' or lecture layout. The lecture room can accommodate 20-25 people in a boardroom or cafe-style layout, and up to 50 people in a lecture layout.
Flip charts are available for use. A data projector can be hired for a small additional fee. Guest Wi-Fi access is available, but must be booked in advance.
A vending machine with hot drinks (80p per drink) and water cooler (free) is also available.
Availability
The room is available for hire within the History Centre's regular opening hours (plus Mondays): 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, or 9am-4.30pm on Saturdays.

Location and access
The Dorset History Centre is located in Dorchester, within easy reach of the town centre, bus stops and railway stations.
There is limited pay-and-display parking, including disabled parking bays, at the History Centre itself, with the Top o' Town car park less than 5 minutes walk.
The History Centre is fully accessible, with the lecture room located on the ground floor.
