The SEN team is responsible for the statutory assessment of children with special educational needs in line with the Education Act 1996 and the SEN Code of Practice. This involves making arrangements for them to be placed at mainstream schools, special schools or bases; to make the necessary arrangements for any special provision to meet their varying needs and to oversee the Annual Review and Transitional Review processes.
