Fly posting - reporting and removal

Fly posting is when posters, stickers, boards and other forms of advertisement are put up in a public place illegally.

Enforcement action can be taken against companies that do this under the Highways Act 1980 and the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 1992, the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005.

If you would like to report an incident of fly posting please contact your local district/borough council.

Alternatively, you can report an incident of fly posting online.
