Video guide to explain food waste recycling collection scheme
A video guide showing just how easy it is to recycle food waste.
The video is part of the new food waste recycling collection scheme that was launched in Sherborne and surrounding villages in April 2010.

Local resident Clare Brignall features in the video, she said: "We already use a wormery, which helps us recycle a lot of our food waste, but there is still food left over that isn't suitable for a wormery or composter, which is why this new scheme is such a great idea.
"It is really simple; just scrape your food waste into the kitchen caddy, tie up the compostable bag and put it out in the outside food bin, leave the handle upright and it will be collected on your normal rubbish collection day each week. It really is easy and takes no time at all."
The video shows how the food waste is taken to Eco-Composting in Dorset where the food waste is made into compost which is then used to grow turf.
