Fostering
In Dorset we need foster carers from all kinds of backgrounds to care for local children with a wide variety of needs. So whether you're married or single, working or not, have a family or live alone - don't rule yourself out.
We need foster carers who believe they can make a difference to children and young people. These children range in age from babies to 18 years of age. Some need short-term placements (anything from just one night to six months), others need the stability of a long-term home.
Children and young people often tell us their fostering experience has been incredibly important to them.
