Dorset autumn beach clean - Sunday 19 September 10am
Dorset Countryside's Coastal Ranger team are inviting all volunteers to help monitor and clean five of our beaches
This is Dorset Countryside's second Autumn Beach clean with two big aims:
The first is to clean those chosen beaches
The second is to monitor the rubbish found
These specific beaches have been identified in the attempt to fill the gap of information collected to support the International anti-marine pollution initiative organised by the Marine Conservation Society. The combined attempt will enable us to get a better picture of the increasing litter problem on our beaches. To achieve this Dorset Countryside would like to hear from any volunteers who can spare a few hours on the Sunday. Please contact Jenny using the contact details below, or turn up on the day and we will supply you with plenty of instructions, gloves and bags. Contact your beachmaster on arrival.
The following beaches will be cleaned and monitored:
