County Museums Adviser
The Dorset County Museums Advisory Service, as part of Dorset County Council Cultural Services, exists to advise and support Dorset's museums.
This support includes:
- Providing small grants for registered museums
- Supporting community museums through the Museum's Accreditation process
- Advising on a range of operational issues
- Working with the South West Museums Libraries and Archive Service and other partners to support and bring resources to Dorset's museums
- Working with the Dorset Museums Association to enhance the effectiveness of Dorset's museums
