Accessibility statement
Our accessibility policy is to ensure this website meets recognised international standards for accessibility to ensure it is accessible to all.
We are fully committed to ensuring this website meets the
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (opens in a new window)
(WCAG 2.0) to AA standard to ensure people with disabilities are not excluded from accessing information and services. To this end, we recently asked
ShawTrust (opens in a new window)
to undertake a full accessibility audit of this website. This involved detailed testing by disabled people using a range of assistive devices such as screen readers.
We were delighted to be awarded Shaw Trust Web Accreditation in November 2010. Any web site carrying this mark has been tested by people with a wide range of disabilities and found to be accessible. A further audit was undertaken in November 2012 and we are currently in the process of resolving some issues identified so we can be re-accredited.
