Christchurch Countryside Service
Christchurch Countryside Service is responsible for protecting and maintaining all sensitive wildlife sites in the ownership of Christchurch Borough Council.
In addition to site management we also help to increase the understanding, awareness and enjoyment of the borough's countryside through a programme of events and activities. These include guided walks, wildlife WATCH (for 8-12 year olds) and a varied range of practical conservation tasks.
Read more about the sites that we manage. There are also opportunities for getting involved in site management through our Conservation Volunteer group.
