We've got books, DVDs and CDs, computers with internet access, online information resources, magazines, newspapers and much, much more.

Remember you can borrow, return renew books at any Dorset County Council library - nearest branches are Chickerell Library, Dorchester Library,  Littlemoor Library, Portland Tophill Library, Portland Underhill Library and Wyke Regis Library.   You can also renew books online or by calling the renewals line on 01305 24311.

The library offers access to a wide range of services including books for adults and young people, regular story times and rhyme time sessions, feature films and music to hire, reference and information services. It also provides free internet access for all.

New for 2009-10 is Fantastic Family Fun - it takes place between 10.30 - 11.30am at the library on the last Saturday of each month and is aimed at dads and their under 5s, but mums and the rest of the family are welcome to come along too. With fun stories, craft activities and songs it is a great way dads and their children to spend some quality time together.

'Safe' is a young adults area on the first floor, designed by young people from Weymouth.  It includes internet access, magazines, a listening post and comfortable seating.

The Mulberry Gallery and Meeting Room, an integral part of the building, form a unique exhibition area and can be hired by members of the public and groups for displays and meetings.  The library also has a Friends group.
