Everyone who comes to Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre ends up either, paddling a kayak, sailing a dinghy, climbing a rock, solving a team challenge or hitting a target. The children, young people and adults who participate in our activities come from schools, colleges, youth groups, groups of friends, families, by themselves or join groups WOEC put together.

Whatever you choose to do, you can start with a taster session to find out what the activity is like and then if you want to continue there are courses and sessions that will take you as far as you want.

Kayaking
Learn to kayak and improve your kayaking using sit-on-tops, general purpose kayaks and sea kayaks at great locations on the Jurassic Coast.
Group bookings
Who can make a group booking? Anyone who wants to organise a group can make a group booking for a youth group, friends, family or a group of young people. The group select the activity they would like to do and this can be either a taster session or a course.
Schools, colleges and youth groups
A Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre (WOEC) outdoor education programme is a challenging adventure full of fun and lots of learning. Our outdoor classroom is a great place for young people to build on and further develop, personal and activity skills at the same time.
Rock climbing
Learn to rock climb and improve you climbing skills at different locations on the Isle of Portland in Dorset.
Dance classes
Learn and improve you belly dancing and street dance skills in the evenings and school holidays. There are separate classes for children, young people and adults.
Sailing
Learn to sail and improve your sailing in single hander and two hander dinghies and have a go at yacht sailing in a Hawk 20 and J24 in the excellent sailing waters of Weymouth Bay.
