Outdoor Education Service

Dorset County Council's Outdoor Education Service offers a wide range of tailor-made learning experiences at four diverse centres. Further opportunities can also be provided at your venue through a visit from the mobile team. The centres offer day visits and residential courses to groups and individuals of all ages from Reception to GCSE and A-level fieldwork, universities and adult groups.

You can kayak along the Jurassic Coast, sail in the 2012 Olympic waters, camp in beautiful woodland, spend the night in a Grade II listed manor house or experience life from the past in a Viking Longhouse.

Opportunities with the Outdoor Education Service

All our Centres are often on the lookout for appropriately qualified and experienced tutors to join our team of casual staff.  If you would like to be considered for this work please contact us at any time.
