Dorset Parenting Support Strategy
Nothing contributes more to a child's wellbeing than the parenting they receive. Parenting can be a complex task, and in modern society there are many models of parenting.
Most families will need advice from some source at some point, if only about practical help, day care or education. Other families may need more specialist services.
The Dorset Parenting Support Strategy promotes the development of good quality parenting support across the range of children's needs. It particularly addresses the needs of parents with children who have additional or complex needs. We are also keen to reach those families who have sometimes seemed excluded from the services that could help them.
