Performance at North Dorset District Council
North Dorset District Council Performance Management and Business Information
Performance measures are linked to each of our Corporate Plan priority themes and are regularly reviewed to ensure that they reflect the changing business of the council.
Our 'ACE' priority themes are:-
- Access to Services and Housing
- Community
- Economy & Environment
Business information is generated and used by North Dorset District Council (NDDC) service teams, local community partnerships (CPEND), the Stour Valley Revenues and Benefits Partnership, the Dorset Waste Partnership and SLM Everyone Active Ltd who manage Blandford Leisure Centre.
We use information and technology to identify potential efficiency savings, evaluate how we deliver local services, improve processes and manage change.
We also collect data to provide statutory returns for central government's
Single Data List (opens in a new window)
of local government statistics.
Our performance management framework reflects our mixed-economy approach to service delivery and focuses on our:-
- Customers
- Costs
- Processes
- Staff
All our business information reports are published with the aim of producing transparent, useful and timely updates to our Senior Management Team (SMT) and to our Members. The reports are used for the purpose of council governance and are scrutinised by SMT, Cabinet and Service Review Committees.
