The majority of planning applications submitted to Weymouth and Portland Borough Council are decided under delegated powers by the Development Management Service Manager. Some applications are decided by Planning and Traffic Committee and a small number of applications for minerals and waste proposals and county council development are determined by Dorset County Council.
