Dorset County Council - Pride Awards 2009

Have you received excellent service from someone at Dorset County Council? Or has someone gone out of their way to help you or your local community? Why not nominate them for a county council Pride Award. This is the second year we have run the scheme which recognises the commitment and exceptional achievement of staff.

Many of you come into contact with our staff every day. They could be working in one of our libraries, carrying out road maintenance or caring for you at home.

So, if you've been impressed by some extra special service from an individual or team here's your chance to say thank you by nominating them for a council pride award.

You can nominate staff for a Dorset County Council Pride Award in the following categories:

  • Outstanding customer service award
  • Dignity and respect in care
  • Team of the year
  • Employee of the year

This really is a chance to reward those members of staff who are making a real difference.

Who is eligible for an award?

Employees must have worked for the council since 01 April 2008. The examples as to why they deserve the award should relate to work undertaken from 01 April 2008 - to date.
