The county Health and Safety Team provides support to managers and staff to enable them to carry out their duties effectively.

The county council has a proactive approach to safety and risk management to meet the needs of the organisation, including policy development, workplace audits and inspections, accident and incident investigation and the delivery of a full range of safety-related training.
