Sting in the Tale

Friday 18 August to Monday 27 August 2012 - storytelling in historic places and unique spaces throughout East Dorset, Poole and Christchurch.

The Sting in the Tale Committee are planning a 2012 Cultural treat next year with a bumper Programme of new commissions and collaborative work to join in with the cultural celebrations of London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Year.

Sting in the Tale will be back with its ninth festival - Friday 18 August to Monday 27 August 2012

There will be more of our popular story walks, workshops, campfires and marshmallows, theatre, heritage walks and talks, teenage event, children's storytelling, family day, cultural day and play day. Not to mention new work and exciting collaborations. Visit some of the areas most beautiful venues and attractions and enjoy a wide variety of storytelling performances.
