Applying for a road closure to have a street party
The application form to hold a street party, or any other small event that will affect a road, can be downloaded from this page. Please note a minimum of four weeks notice is required.
For all areas of Dorset, except the Borough District Council areas of Christchurch and Weymouth and Portland, please print off the street party application form (pdf, 133kb) (opens in a new window) , please read all the information and complete all parts.
Your application form needs be returned to the Road Space Management Team at Dorset County Council.
If you wish to hold a street party in the Christchurch Borough Council area then please use this form (pdf, 32kb) (opens in a new window) , and return to Christchurch Borough Council.

If you are holding an event which is larger than a street party you may need a Temporary Event Notice, which can be used to authorise small-scale events involving no more than 499 people.
