Supporting vulnerable people

Supporting People Logo

Do you need help to live independently? 'Supporting People' funds housing related support services to vulnerable people to enable them to live independently in the community.

Supporting People funds high quality and strategically planned housing-related support services. The services are reliable, provide good value for money and complement existing care services. Services are planned and developed to meet the needs of people in Dorset. Supporting People is a working partnership of local government, service users and support agencies.

We hold contracts with all individuals and organisations who provide housing related support services and get their funding direct from the Supporting People budget. All services funded in this way are closely monitored and regularly reviewed.

Dorset Supporting People aim to make their role as open as possible; please click on the links below for further information.
