Community alarm services
Telecare is a telephone-based service which can help a person of any age to feel safer and more supported in their own home, 24 hours a day, 356 days a year.
Telecare sensors working alongside a community alarm system can provide automatic and direct communication with a monitoring centre if help is required. Alternatively the person can call for help by pressing the button on a personal alarm/pendant worn round the neck or wrist.
