Walking

Walking is a great way to get about, to cut your car use and to fit more exercise into your day.

Walking is ideally suited for journeys of less than two miles.  Walking briskly for just half an hour each day can help improve your fitness and reduce the risk of obesity, heart disease, diabetes and stroke.  It can help reduce stress and is beneficial both to the local environment and in reducing carbon emissions.
