We offer outdoor and adventurous activities for young people and adults throughout the year.

During this winter, in preparation for the 2012 season, the centre is undergoing a major refurbishment to the reception area and changing rooms.  This refurbishment is being funded by the National Lottery and Dorset County Council and is part of a local MyPlace project focusing on the improvement of youth facilities in Weymouth.

• Courses for children and young people

  Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre offers a wide range of courses for groups of young people and a programme of courses for the general public. We can also provide one to one tuition to help you develop your skills.

• Weymouth Paddlesports Academy

  We are a BCU (British Canoe Union) approved centre with a reputation for delivering first-class paddling experiences.

• Employment opportunities at Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre

  There are currently vacancies for freelance instructors to work on a casual basis. We are also able to arrange work experience placements.

• Room hire

  Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre has a variety of rooms that are available to be hired during the day, evenings or at weekends, by arrangement.
