Fitness classes

Whether you want dancing or toning, swimming or circuits, we have a variety of classes to suit your specific needs, no matter what age, sex or ability level.

If you would like further information regarding the specific classes please contact Reception on 01202 477987. Our creche facility, 'Time Out' is available for certain classes during term time.

Join our brand new Running Club - We now have a brand new outdoor running circuit available for all customers. We are also introducing structured and enjoyable beginners sessions run by Run England qualified instructors. Only £30 for 10 weeks and great for getting fit and socialising with new people.

The Running Club has been set up in partnership with Two Riversmeet Leisure Complex, Run England and the Activate Coast and Countryside (based at Moors Valley Country Park) team so book today by contacting our colleagues at Moors Valley Country Park (opens in a new window)

Additional services

Get the best out of your time in the leisure centre, see your progress and reach your goals with excellent 'value for money' additional services.

1) Personal programme - £21.50

Individually written personal programme, to enable you to get the best advice on what to do with your time in the fitness suite, to help you reach your goals in a safe and effective way.

2) Body stats - £10.00

The best way to see how your body is changing through fitness. When you workout regularly your body will gain muscle and you should lose body fat but you may not notice a change in body weight, an excellent way to see you are losing fat and gaining muscle, something your scales won't tell you.

3) Fitness testing - £14.50

These three tests are an excellent way to keep track of your fitness levels and really show the improvements you have made:

  • Vo2 max test - 10 minute fitness test on a bike - tells us your cardio-vascular fitness relative to age
  • Grip test - A strength test - grip a bar and squeeze, looks at strength compared to age and gender
  • Flexibility test - On a sit and reach box - flexibility test relative to age

Personal training

We have five Personal Trainers available at the centre. All of which have an impressive variety of knowledge and skills available to ensure even the most challenging goals can be achieved.
