A local green space with riverside benches if you wish to stop and appreciate this tranquil site.
Patches of scrub and trees add variety to this riverside grassland along the River Stour. The site is ideal for the Water Vole, an increasingly rare mammal that still flourishes in Gillingham's waterways. They can be quite tame and with patience you may be lucky enough to see one.
