Early Intervention Teams

Early intervention means providing additional help and services to children and their families as soon as problems emerge, or if there is a strong likelihood that problems will emerge in the future.

Early intervention is not just for young children. Situations change and problems may emerge at any point throughout childhood and adolescence.

Our vision:

"To improve outcomes for children, young people and families, with a particular focus on those who need support, by developing and delivering an early intervention and prevention service."

There are Early Intervention teams in Christchurch, East Dorset, North Dorset, Purbeck, West Dorset and Weymouth & Portland.
