  • Saturday 4 April - normal Saturday service running
  • Easter Sunday 5 April - Special service on route 1, normal Sunday service running on all routes (except routes 6, 14 and X53 which do not run on Sundays)
  • Bank Holiday Monday 6 April - Special service on route 1, Saturday service on routes X31 and X53, Sunday service running on all other routes except routes 6 and 14 that will not run)

Engineering work

There is no major engineering work planned over the Easter weekend in the Dorset area. However, engineering work further afield may affect journies, including:

Work at Reading station will affect First Great Western and Cross Country services from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April.

Trains will be lengthened where possible to South West Trains services between London Waterloo and Exeter.

On Friday 3 and Monday 6 April trains will run between Bournemouth and Reading.

On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 April trains will run between Bournemouth and Basingstoke. Passengers for Reading will need to change at Basingstoke for a bus connection.

Throughout the Holiday weekend passengers for Oxford and the North should change at Winchester for an express coach service to Didcot Parkway. Services to the North will start from there.

  • Good Friday 3 April - normal weekday service
  • Saturday 4 April - normal Saturday service
  • Easter Sunday 5 April - Sunday timetable for the summer season begins - 9am - 6.15pm
  • Bank Holiday Monday 6 April - Sunday timetable. Service starts at 9am and last bus from Weymouth Town Centre is 6.15pm
